The Administrative Technical College organizes a scientific symposium entitled Banking financial transactions and their relationship with the citizen.

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Administrative Technical College, Assistant Professor Dr. Samir Taha Yassin, the Department of Statistics and Informatics Techniques, in cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq / Nineveh Branch, organized a scientific symposium entitled “Bank financial transactions and their relationship with the citizen”.

A delegation from the Central Bank, represented by the men listed below, attended the symposium:

The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College, the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Scientific Affairs, the heads of the scientific departments, and several faculty, staff, and students of the College.

The seminar addressed the following topics:

  1. Localization and financial inclusion, giving an idea of ​​the electronic payment system and some other systems such as RTGS.
  2. 2 – Counterfeiting and counterfeiting currency and trading in undrawn currencies and the resulting provisions.
  3. Loans and ways to obtain them for small, medium, and large enterprises, and to address the initiatives undertaken by the Central Bank to help the owners of low-income people and the unemployed.
  4. Financial dealings with governmental and private banks about transfer and letter of guarantee in commercial business in a way that guarantees and preserves funds in legal and correct ways.

The symposium came out with several recommendations, including the need to spread the culture of financial dealing through the use of modern electronic technologies that are widely used in the world.

At the end of the symposium, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Hamid Majeed presented the college shield and wrote thanks and appreciation to the Central Bank delegation, praising their constructive role and their valuable and distinguished efforts in the symposium.
