Tasks of the Division of Admission and Student Registration.
This division is considered one of the important divisions in the Northern Technical University as it is directly linked to the students who wish to be nominated for admission to the university.
Colleges and institutes of the university under the central admission system implemented electronically through the electronic portal of the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, where the application is through the link (WWW.dirasat-gate.org) for central admission / morning study in addition to accepting students from other channels Which include:-

Acceptance of the first (10%) of graduates of technical institutes in colleges.

Acceptance of distinguished employees.

Acceptance of the first students to Iraq who are graduates of professional branches of study (or its equivalent).

Acceptance of students who are graduates of professional study branches in institutes through the committee formed by the university.

Acceptance of students who are graduates of tourism institutes.

Acceptance of students from graduate schools of nursing, midwifery and obstetrics in institutes.

Acceptance of students who obtained a middle school certificate equivalent to the Iraqi middle school certificate (from schools outside Iraq).

Acceptance of international students in the primary and higher studies
The registration process begins after circulating the admission orders received from the ministry to the colleges and institutes of the Northern Technical University and all types of admission that were previously announced on the ministry’s website for a certain period.
Duties of the Documents Audit Division.
- Follow up on checking the preparatory study documents for students admitted to the university’s colleges and institutes through a program prepared by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, after circulating the Ministry’s letter with the user name and password for the purpose of checking.
- Follow up on checking the documents of students holding equivalent certificates.
Tasks of the Student Affairs Follow-up Division
Follow-up of student affairs for students who are continuing to study and whose enrollment has been postponed in terms of: –
- Academic biography.
- Checking the administrative orders issued against them.
- Follow up the positions of counterfeit students.
- Recommendations for college and institute records.
- Providing readings to address students’ cases.
- Issuing university orders for transfer and hosting.
- Follow-up on sending students’ degree files to and from the university’s colleges and institutes.
Tasks of the Alumni and Attestation Division
- Issuing a unified university order for graduates of colleges and institutes for the first and second cycles, and for each role according to the date of graduation.
- Preparing and organizing unified forms of the mural certificate and the documents associated with the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and distributing them to the university’s colleges and institutes and approving them after organizing and sending them back to the university in both Arabic and English with degrees and without degrees.
- Confirmation of the validity of the issuance of documents (with degrees and without degrees, and mural certificates issued by colleges and institutes of the university and received from the departments of state ministries from inside and outside Iraq.
- Sending lists of graduate students for medical specialties to the Ministry of Higher Education and Health.
