The Northern Technical University launched the events of the First Nineveh Entrepreneurship Forum which coincides with the International Entrepreneurship Week, that held annually from November 13 for a week. This event aims to introduce the importance of entrepreneurship through various activities and stimulate the exploration of pioneering ideas and entrepreneurship and business. This event comes as an embodiment of the initiative of the Prime Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, who launch the Reyada platform, aiming at strengthen the Iraqi entrepreneurial community by supporting start-up projects, developing creative thought, improving youth skills, and building capabilities. Northern Technical University always seeks to support innovation and young ambitions and create a productive ecosystem for innovation and emerging entrepreneurship. On its first day, the forum included several events and activities to spread the culture of entrepreneurship and support innovation also the forum is presented by many of the main lecturers, consultants and entrepreneurs from Iraq and abroad. Through their presentations, they demonstrated the importance and role of entrepreneurship in the progress and the development of Industry and economy and the importance of supporting promising young people with their emerging and innovative projects. This was followed by a presentation of a number of success stories for the young graduates and how their success path was charted with their pioneering projects. The activities of the first day also included organizing an open session in which consultants, leading business owners, academics, and founders of civil society organizations were hosted to answer questions and ask the attendees about the content of innovation, entrepreneurship, investing in intellectual and technical creativity, and ways to enhance this. The activities of the first day ended with the opening of an exhibition of scientific and technical products and innovations made by students of colleges and institutes, which included a wide range of pioneering and innovative scientific products.
