Within the framework of enhancing practical learning and linking theoretical knowledge with laboratory applications, and under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the guidance of the Dean of the Technical Agricultural College, Professor Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajary, first-year students (morning and evening studies) of the Technical Agricultural College organized a scientific visit to the Soil and Water Resources Laboratory / Department of Soil and Water Resources at the College of Agriculture and Forestry.
The visit aimed to familiarize students with laboratory work environments and modern techniques used in soil and water analysis, thereby strengthening their practical understanding of theoretical concepts. During the visit, students were introduced to advanced laboratory instruments and learned about methods for analyzing the physical and chemical properties of soil, as well as techniques used in assessing and managing water resources.
The visit also provided students with valuable exposure to practical applications employed in agricultural and environmental studies, contributing to the development of their scientific skills, enhancing their academic experience, and preparing them for future laboratory and professional work.
The visit was supervised by Dr. Ru’a Noufal Al-Shamma, who emphasized the importance of such scientific visits in supporting students’ educational journeys, broadening their scientific perspectives, and introducing them to specialized research environments, which positively reflects on their academic and practical performance.
This scientific visit is part of a series of academic activities organized by the Technical Agricultural College, reflecting its commitment to improving students’ scientific competence and integrating academic education with practical field and laboratory experience.
