‏Professor Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Jedansk Technological University
‏in the Republic of Poland
‏Based on the vision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in promoting international cooperation a delegation from the Northern Technical University under the chairmanship of the Rector of the University, Professor Alia Abbas Ali Attar, visited Jedansk Technological University in Poland to sign a scientific memorandum of understanding.

At the beginning of the signing ceremony, Al Attar thanked the Presidency of the University of Gedansk for hosting them, providing a full explanation of the University’s vision and objectives, emphasizing our University’s focus on opening up to international universities in line with the vision of our Ministry in internationalizing universities and exchanging students.
Al-Attar referred to the research activity and scientific conferences organized by the University, stressing the importance of signing the memorandum in the framework of strengthening scientific and cultural relations with sober universities.

For his part, President of Gedansk University welcomed the visiting delegation and gave a historical overview of the university, expressing the hope that the memorandum would bring the desired benefit to both sides.
The memorandum deals with the exchange of scientific experiences, through the exchange of professors and support of scientific projects, the promotion of cooperation in the dissemination of joint scientific research and attendance at scientific conferences and events.
At the end of the ceremony, souvenirs were exchanged between the two parties, in the presence of the directors of the scientific and administrative departments of both universities.
