Northern Technical University participates in the Al-Noor University Competition.

Under the direction of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and with the follow-up of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr. Dhnoon Younis Dhnoon, the Student Activities Department participated in the Quranic Competition (Al-Noor Quranic Competition) organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, the Student Activities Department in Basra Governorate (University of Basra), where our university team was represented by three students from the Mosul Technical Engineering College, the Mosul Technical Engineering College for Computer and Artificial Intelligence, and the Mosul Technical Institute, in addition to the head of the delegation, Mr. Qidar Nizar Jassim. 43 public and private universities participated in this university competition, which was opened in the presence of the President of the University of Basra, the Deputy Governor of Basra and the Chairman of the Ministerial Committee, Dr. Ammar Al-Zubaidi, and a number of officials. The competition included (recitation, memorization and interpretation), and our university received the Quranic Participation Shield.
