Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and within the implementation of ministerial instructions stipulating the necessity of educating society and making it aware of the danger of the invasion of deviant ideas on the disintegration of the family fabric and protecting it from anomalies, the Psychological Counseling Division organized an educational symposium entitled: “Family Disintegration, a Psychological and Social View,” delivered by its interlocutor. Mr. Mustafa Bashir Nabil, a specialist in clinical psychology, spoke to a large group of students about the importance of building a family based on sound social foundations far from cases of violence, tyranny, and cruelty, and adopting the principle of understanding, freedom, and respect among family members. The psychotherapist listened to the students’ questions and inquiries about how to rehabilitate Young people reach the stage of forming a family, offering advice on reading and self-education before embarking on choosing a life partner, describing this stage as fateful for a person, and a wrong choice may expose society to a collapse in its social system, pointing to terrifying statistics on divorce cases that reach 19 cases per day.
