Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Departments of Media and Public Relations, and Follow-up at the Presidency of the University, organized an educational and awareness symposium entitled “Drugs and their negative impact on youth and students”.

Several specialized professors from the University’s Committee on Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances participated in the symposium, including:

Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Mawjood Hasan, head of the committee… He Talked about what drugs are, in terms of legal and legal terms, what are the causes of drug abuse, what is psychological treatment and educational guidance for this, and what are the psychological effects of drug abusers. He also called for everyone to unite to stave off the danger of this scourge, which is being exterminated. He also referred to the field visits that the committee carried out to the Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control, the Community Police Directorate, and the Forensic Medicine Department. The committee listened to the role of security institutions in combating this dangerous disease.
