Northern Technical University organizes a symposium entitled: “Approach to a Breast Lump: Clinical Methodology for Evaluating a Breast Lump.”

Under the patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Technical Research Center organized a scientific symposium entitled: “Approach to a Breast Lump: Clinical Methodology for Evaluating a Breast Lump.” The symposium was attended by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Professor Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayat, the Chairman of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Nineveh Branch, and a number of university staff. The symposium aimed to:
▪ Explain the basic steps in evaluating a breast lump.
▪ Introduce available diagnostic tools such as mammography, ultrasound, and biopsy methods.
▪ Explain the importance of choosing a treatment plan based on the type and stage of the tumor.
Recommendations:
▪ Early detection allows for easier, less costly treatment, and a higher chance of recovery.
