Under the patronage and guidance of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Psychological Guidance and Educational Guidance Division organized a special counseling symposium for university students on the dangers of drugs and psychotropic substances on community health, with the participation of 200 students. Abdul Razzaq, Head of the Department of Community Health, in which they spoke about the dangers of this dangerous scourge on the health of young people, as well as its dangerous repercussions in the collapse of the social system, starting from the diagnosis of some cases in which young people fell victim to fraud by dealers and promoters of this scourge whose goal is to collect money and the collapse of values, stressing the need to contribute And work together in spreading health awareness to eliminate this phenomenon that is alien to our society… It is worth that the university has launched a campaign to combat drugs and psychotropic substances with the participation of university students. It will include giving awareness lectures and distributing posters and publications in the university and the community throughout the month of November.
