Northern Technical University launches the activities of the Second Nineveh Entrepreneurship Forum…

In an event that reflects Iraq’s ambitions for the future, Northern Technical University launched the activities of the “Second Nineveh Entrepreneurship Forum”, which witnessed an unprecedented turnout of local and international academics and entrepreneurs. The event, which is one of the most prominent scientific and entrepreneurial events in the region, was held in Mosul city and was opened with an inspiring speech by the President of Northern Technical University, Prof.Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, in which she emphasized the role of higher education in promoting innovation and building an entrepreneurial generation capable of leading the future economy. She confirmed that our university won first place in the First Nineveh Entrepreneurship Forum at the level of Iraqi universities. The first day of the forum witnessed an exceptional dialogue session chaired and moderated by the University President, discussing the role of universities, government institutions and organizations in supporting an entrepreneurial environment that stimulates innovation. The speakers agreed on the importance of investing in the capabilities of young people and the necessity of improving the business environment to support small and medium enterprises in Iraq. At the conclusion of today’s activities for the forum, which continues until 12/3/2024, certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants in the first activities.
