With guidance from the President of Northern Technical University, Professor Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and as part of the Entrepreneurship Initiative for Development and Employment launched by the Prime Minister, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Department organized a training course for a number of selected members from all faculties and institutes affiliated with the university. The course is a requirement of the initiative to prepare qualified trainers to train the university’s students and graduates. The course was attended by 1,174 participants who have innovative and entrepreneurial ideas and who have registered for the initiative to join the training courses. The courses focus on how to prepare entrepreneurial project plans, study their feasibility, manage projects and practical ideas, develop, sustain and grow them, and their crucial role in developing the private sector and reducing unemployment rates in society. It is worth mentioning that the Entrepreneurship Initiative is one of the important initiatives that focus on opening up investment opportunities and supporting small and medium-sized projects for students and graduates, by providing their own business incubators and the necessary financial support.
