Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Committee to lay the foundations for coexistence organized on the occasion of the National Tolerance Day, dialogue sessions focused on “the role of youth in building community peace”, and a group of university students participated in the sessions held in the Church of the Annunciation under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bashar Nadeem Ahmed, head of the committee, and their discussions revolved around methods of spreading peace in the university and society, how to confront extremist ideas and ways to spread a culture of moderation.

At the end of the sessions, Father Raed, the icon of peaceful coexistence in our society, shared the joy of our students by cutting the occasion’s cake, congratulating our university on its blessed steps towards spreading peace, praising the efforts made in laying the foundations of peace, which contributes significantly to achieving stability in the city.
