Northern Technical University holds a training workshop on the Learning Management System (IQ Learn).

Under the patronage of the President of Northern Technical University and the supervision of the vise President for Scientific Affairs, and as part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s efforts to support universities and enhance awareness of the electronic learning management system (IQ Learn), Northern Technical University organized an extensive training workshop on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. The workshop was attended by the heads of all scientific departments within the university.

The workshop was held in-person for institutions located in Nineveh province in the Smart Hall of the Technical Institute of Computer and Artificial Intelligence, and online for institutions outside the province, with broad participation from teaching and administrative staff.

The workshop was led by Dr. Diar Qader Saleem (Director of the Scientific Affairs Department at the University Presidency) and Dr. Nawar Abdulghani Sultan (Head of the Cybersecurity Engineering Department), who presented a detailed overview of the system and its application mechanisms in the university’s colleges and institutes. They emphasized the importance of using it to support digital transformation and activate electronic learning according to established quality standards.

This workshop is part of a series initiated by Northern Technical University within its automation and digital transformation plan, aligning with the ministry’s objectives to develop technical education and employ modern technologies in the educational process.
