Temperature Distribution on Aluminum Alloy Models Welded by the Method of Friction Stir Welding

The research project submitted by the student (Amna Faris Hamed) examined the use of different rotational and linear speeds and studied their effect on the temperature distribution of the alloys that were joined (welded) by frictional mixing welding using the conical serrated welding tool.

The research project’s objective is to know the temperature distribution on the surface of aluminum alloy (AA2024-0, AA7075-T6) and to create a mathematical model using the Ansys-15 program to know the temperature distribution and compare it with theoretical-practical results.
