Under the principle of strengthening mutual cooperation among the formations of Northern Technical University, and under the patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and the direct supervision of the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, Prof. Dr. Shehab Ahmed Al-Bajjari, and in the presence of the Dean of the Technical Medical Institute/Mosul, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fadhel Hameed,
the Agricultural Technical College – Mosul, in cooperation with the Technical Medical Institute – Mosul, launched a large-scale afforestation campaign that covered several areas and open spaces within the campuses of both institutions.

The campaign aims to enhance green spaces, improve the university environment, and strengthen the culture of tree planting among students and staff, in alignment with the university’s plans to achieve sustainable development and improve the quality of life within the academic environment.

The campaign witnessed wide participation from students and employees who contributed to planting various types of long-lasting and aesthetically appealing trees, in an atmosphere filled with teamwork and cooperation.

This initiative comes as part of a series of environmental activities implemented by Northern Technical University in support of green projects and in pursuit of the university’s vision for a sustainable educational environment.
