Northern Technical University Active Role in the 6th International Conference on Electromechanical Engineering and its Applications.

As part of its distinguished scientific presence at both the national and international levels, Northern Technical University actively participated in the 6th International Conference on Electromechanical Engineering and its Applications. This conference was organized in cooperation with Duhok Polytechnic University, the University of Technology, Northern Technical University, Al-Noor University, Al-Zahraa University, and Multaqa Al-Nahrain University College, under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government.

The first day of the conference commenced with the playing of Iraqi national anthem, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Then, the President of Duhok Polytechnic University, the host institution, delivered a speech. This was followed by a speech from the representative of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of Northern Technical University. In her address, she emphasized the importance of joint scientific cooperation and the development of engineering specializations to meet the needs of the labor market and enhance students’ research and applied capabilities.

The opening session included speeches by the President of the University of Technology and a representative of the Minister of Education in the regional government. Following these speeches, the focus shifted to scientific research, with the commencement of specialized scientific sessions that discussed the latest research in the fields of electromechanical engineering and its industrial applications.

At the conclusion of the first day’s events, the conference shield was presented to the presidents of the participating universities and distinguished guests in recognition of their scientific contributions and their support for higher education in Iraq.
