Northern Technical University Achieves New Achievement in QS World University Rankings.

Northern Technical University has achieved a remarkable accomplishment in global rankings. This year, the university appeared for the second time in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 in the field of Petroleum Engineering, ranking 151-175 globally. This achievement reflects the university’s efforts to develop its academic and technical programs, strengthening its position as one of the leading universities in Iraq and the region.
These successes reflect the university’s vision of promoting scientific research and developing academic staff capable of competing globally, affirming its continued support for innovation and enhancing international cooperation in the technical and engineering fields. It is worth noting that 1,730 institutions worldwide compete in this ranking, and Northern Technical University is among only six Iraqi universities, achieving advanced positions.
