And in the presence of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Majed Khalil Najm, the Scientific Associate, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Jadaan Ali, the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Rakan Khalil Antar, and the Head of the Computer Technology Engineering Department, Ms. Dr. Ziad Khalaf Faraj and the number of graduate students affiliated.
Where the thesis submitted by the student (Roaa Moatasem Saadallah Ayoub) discussed the implementation of the FMR application to detect and distinguish people who wear a face mask or without it, depending on the facial features and treatment of blockages that the face is exposed to, in addition to implementing the application called IPWM that wears a face mask or without it.
The message was intended to:
- Building a real-time face detection system based on facial features
- Proposing a system that detects human faces with and without masks in real-time, even with obstructions, such as a person wearing medical glasses or sunglasses, and in low light.
- Building a system that recognizes a person’s identity without having to take off the face mask
- Implementation of a face mask recognition system using (Raspberry Pi Model B) with a preparatory sound.
Letter recommended: - The possibility of using more deep earning techniques and Internet of Things (IoT) applications to implement face mask detection with body temperature measurement.
- Improve the proposed work by using more data from the institution’s implementation of the masked person identification system.
- Develop the proposed work to classify the type of mask (gas-surgical).
