Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Shahla Abdel Wahab Abdel Qader, the Department of Computer Systems Technologies organized a scientific symposium entitled(Using the LATEX program in writing and indexing academic research). The lecture was given by Mrs. Duha Faeq Thanoun.

The symposium dealt with learning about the LATEX program and how to write and coordinate scientific research.

the aim was:

Teaching researchers how to write scientific research using the LATEX program and knowing its advantages over the Word program in writing and indexing research and academic reports.

Recommendations:

We recommend learning latex because of its importance in writing and coordinating research and articles as well, because some journals have begun to put the use of latex in the printing of research as a condition for accepting the research because the programs used as a Latech editor are free and available even to print in latex online without the need to install auxiliary programs.
