Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Shahla Abdul-Wahab Abdul-Qader, the Nursing Technology Department held a scientific symposium entitled (Black Mushroom)

 Delivered by Prof. Dr. Rifaiy Yaseen Hamid.

The seminar dealt with the nature of the black fungus, which is an infection caused by a type of fungus that forms black colonies in the affected tissues and affects the sinuses, the brain, or the lungs, and it occurs in some people who suffer from weak immune systems.

Recommendations that came out of the symposium:

1. Reducing the intake of corticosteroids and antibiotics
2. Not keeping garbage at home and getting rid of it daily
3. Make sure to wash fruits and vegetables well
4. Paying attention to the ventilation of the house
5. Reduce your intake of processed foods
