under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Mosul Technical Institute, Assistant Professor Shahla Abdel-Wahab Abdul-Qader, the Department of Computer Systems Technologies organized a scientific course entitled (Learning the Basics of Python Language)

Take turns giving lectures to:

• Assistant teacher Saba Qassem Hassan
• Teacher Sahar Ismail Mahmoud

The course dealt with:

• Download Python
• Setting up PyCharm or IDE
• Dealing with variables and arithmetic operations
• Conditional sentences and loops
• Dealing with libraries and applying functions
• Menus

The importance of the course was summarized by explaining the various uses of the Python language, namely:

1. A versatile programming language
2. Open source language
3. Easy to learn

The session came out with several recommendations, including:

1. We recommend learning Python, as it is an open-source and scalable language
2. The great demand for Python programmers in the programming job market
3. It has multiple uses, as it is used in many fields in many programming paths, from web applications to artificial intelligence algorithms.
4. It gives the ability to download different open-source packages with multiple specialties
