Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Shahla Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Qader, Dean of the Mosul Technical Institute, the Department of Electronic Technologies organized a panel discussion entitled “Solar Energy Cells as a Renewable Energy Source” in the Department’s Computer Networks Laboratory, in which he gave a lecture Teaching composed by Abdel-Jabbar Hamed.

The seminar aimed to raise awareness of the importance of solar energy and its positive effects in providing and meeting energy needs, especially since Iraq has a strategic location that qualifies it to benefit from this resource.

The seminar came out with several recommendations, including working to increase the use of solar energy in addition to facilitating investment in this sector because of its great return on investors and society.
