Master’s thesis at the Northern Technical University discusses the design and implementation of a security system model for controlling vehicle speed

The College of Engineering / Mosul discussed a technical master’s thesis, specializing in computer technology engineering, tagged: – Design and implementation of a model of a security system to control the speed of the car
Design and Implementation of a security system model for Vehicle Speed Control
The thesis submitted by a graduate student (Are Mahmoud Asaad Ayed) discussed building a vehicle safety system based on smart protection devices that are small in size and low in energy and cost compared to the price of the car to reduce car theft crimes that the world is currently facing and reduce vehicle theft incidents. The vehicle is controlled through A mobile application based on the Internet of Things.
The thesis aimed to design and implement a control system through which several options are controlled, namely:-
Vehicle speed, doors, and windows.

  • fuel pump.
  • The ability to send live broadcasts, take pictures and record video clips from inside the vehicle through a camera installed inside.
  • The ability to communicate with the vehicle’s cabin and determine its location from anywhere and at any time.
  • Monitor movement within the vehicle contact.
  • The ability to call pre-assigned numbers, such as the police, ambulance, or relatives.
The letter recommended recognizing the faces of vehicle owners using artificial neural networks and a deep learning algorithm and developing a special website to track vehicles in real-time and to store incoming data in the vehicle, providing the system with the advantages of reliability, speed, and security.
A part of the discussion was attended by the scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Jadaan Ali, and El-Sayed Head of the Medical Devices Technologies Engineering Department, Prof.Dr. Muhammad Sabah Gerges and several faculty members and graduate students.
    The discussion committee consisted of:-
  1. Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Muhammad Khader as Chairman.
  2. Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Younis Thanoun, as a member.
  3. The teacher, Dr. Emad Ahmed Mohamed, is a member.
  4. Assistant Professor Dr. Thaer Ali Saleh, member and supervisor.
