Kirkuk Technical Institute organizes an educational symposium for second-level students for the academic year 2023/2022 entitled “Examination Instructions and Examination Mechanism for Second-level Students of the Curriculum System”.

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ashti Mahdi Aref, Dean of the Kirkuk Technical Institute, the Department of Computer Systems Technologies organized an informative educational symposium entitled “Examination Instructions and Examination Mechanism for Students of the Second Level of the Courses System”

The seminar dealt with:
Preparing for the monthly exam for the first semester for students of the second level (the course system) and adhering to the examination instructions, regulations, and laws approved in this regard.
The seminar indicated:

  1. Mechanisms of the attendance exam and the need to adhere to and abide by the laws and instructions of the attendance exams.
  2. An explanation of all the approved controls and instructions regarding the course system, what is meant by the compulsory and elective courses, the instructions for the preparatory course, the compulsory course or the optional course, and the importance of reviewing the scientific advisor when registering for the second-level courses – the first semester of the current academic year 2022-2023.
  3. Creating the desired development in the students’ attitudes, investing their latent energies and talents, and transferring them from the leisure cycle to the fruitful time to be more accommodating and aware of the nature of academic life in its scientific, cultural, artistic, and sports fields.
    The seminar aimed to:
  4. Urging students to follow the lectures according to the schedule announced to them and not to be absent.
  5. Commitment to the dates of attendance to the exam hall before the start of the exam and respect for the exam hall, with an emphasis on the student’s official uniform and wearing masks, bringing the student’s ID, vaccine card and all the necessary supplies for the exam and not bringing mobiles to the exam hall.
  6. Urging students to participate in extra-curricular activities (sports and art) to develop the student’s technical and sports skills.
    The seminar made several recommendations:
  7. Preparation, perseverance, good study for the exam, and focus on academic exams leads to success and access to graduation.
  8. Helping the student to acquire the characteristics of logical and organized mental thinking through his practice of different sports, and artistic, social, and cultural activities.
