Kirkuk Technical Institute organizes a scientific course on “UML Modeling Language”

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of Kirkuk Technical Institute The Department of Computer Systems Technologies at the Technical Institute / Kirkuk organized a course on modeling Language UML The lecture was delivered by the assistant teacher, Elham Hassan Aziz, and a number of the institute’s employees participated in it.

The course dealt with the definition of the modeling language, as it is a graphical language that uses symbols to produce models, providing a complete picture of the program, which facilitates the design of the program.

  1. Introducing the modeling language, its stages and features
  2. Modeling methods for system components and modeling layers
  3. Modeling using the Unified Modeling Language.

The session indicated:

  • The importance of using modeling as a language, a coding tool, or a grammar that helps in the software development process, and it has its own methods and tools that are well known to system analysts and programmers.
    • Defining the stages of object-oriented modeling, starting from identifying the constituent objects of the system to implementing the system, including:
  1. Describe objects, properties, and operations using the appropriate programming language.
  2. Writing the operations programs associated with each object.
  3. Linking the operations and data of each object within the framework of the program for that object.
  4. Linking object programs together within the system program.
  5. Identifying many different diagrams in (UML), such as the use case diagram), which is the diagram that presents the relationship between the actors and the use cases that describe the behavior of the system from the user’s point of view in order to understand the requirements. and other schemes.
