Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar  and the supervision of the Dean of the Kirkuk Technical Institute, the Nursing Technology Department organized a scientific course entitled (Dealing with Adolescents).

Delivered the lecture at the session:

The course dealt with:

1. The stages of adolescence
2. Characteristics of adolescents and ways to deal with them
3. Adolescence problems
4. Methods of dealing with adolescence
5. How do we deal with a rebellious teenager

The course showed that parents and teachers must be aware of the sharp emotions that may be issued by adolescents and be keen to direct them more than they are keen to punish them and provide them with chances of success because they are the leaders of the future

The course aimed at the stages of adolescence as a sensitive stage of life and knowing the characteristics of adolescents and the most important problems they are going through and how to deal with those problems. And the need to pay attention to this category and give it its right to care for the best possible life for them.

The session came out with several conclusions, including adolescence, which is the most dangerous stage in people’s lives, as the individual undergoes psychological, physical, and social changes that make him unable to absorb the stage with all its flaws and advantages. Adolescence is the mature age period in which the individual begins to absorb some of the problems around him and work to address them. Educators must pay attention to adolescents and identify their problems and how to deal with those problems.
