The Department of Environmental Technologies Engineering holds a symposium entitled “Environmental Laws and Legislations”

The seminar presented Assistant teacher Huda Jamal Jumaa.

The symposium discussed strengthening and activating environmental laws, increasing scientific studies, environmental research, and statistical resources, and setting practical principles and plans to encourage sound environmental applications in the family and society to change wrong practices and preserve the environment and sustainable development.

The seminar aimed at increasing societal awareness of the dangers of pollution, encouraging active participation and taking responsibility for all members of society, and enhancing the role of students in preserving the environment.

The symposium indicated the environment in general faces serious global challenges represented in climate change, air pollution, scarcity of water resources, biodiversity deterioration, land degradation, and others.

The symposium recommended increasing scientific studies and environmental research by setting practical principles and plans to encourage sound environmental applications in the family and society to change wrong practices and preserve the environment and sustainable development.
