Kirkuk Health and Medical Technical College hold a workshop entitled (Drugs and the Danger of Addiction)…

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yawuz Noureddin, Dean of the Health and Medical Technical College of Kirkuk, the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Industrial College Technologies, organized a workshop entitled (Drugs and the Danger of Addiction) for students of the fourth stage / Department of Technologies Medical Laboratory.

The workshop dealt with:
There are many topics, including the types of drugs that are currently available, the ways of using them, and the most important ways to prevent them.
The workshop aimed to:
Introduce students to the need to stay away from drugs of all kinds and ways of self-protection to fall into their clutches.
The workshop indicated:
Several things, including how to know a person who uses drugs through the clinical signs appearing on him and the negative effects that result from them in terms of health and social status and general signs, in addition to their impact on the economic and material level because of their negative impact on losing money.
The workshop came out with several conclusions, including:

  1. Stay away from bad company and companions.
  2. Adherence to values, customs, and traditions, in addition to strengthening the religious scruples for fear of God Almighty.
  3. Use your free time correctly and productively.
  4. Talent development by participating in sports clubs.
  5. Use the money correctly and not waste it.
  6. Helping the abuser, standing next to him, and taking his hand.
  7. Directing and instructing others to stay away from drugs.
