Joint Scientific Cooperation to Enhance the Quality of Higher Education in Iraq.

On the sidelines of the third session of the Technical Education Council, Northern Technical University, represented by its president, Prof. Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, signed several agreements with government universities, represented by their presidents, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Dhahd. The aim is to develop the educational and research environment and enhance joint cooperation in various fields. Below are the most prominent of these agreements:

University of technology
The agreement focused on exchanging academic expertise, strengthening twinning programs in medical and engineering specialties, as well as supporting joint research projects and technology transfer.

Middle Technical University
The agreement aimed at developing graduate programs and scientific research in the fields of energy and environment, in collaboration with specialized global universities. It also includes the establishment of advanced research centers and training teaching staff.

Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University
Northern Technical University was keen to expand the horizons of academic cooperation through a comprehensive agreement, which includes the exchange of faculty and students, organizing joint scientific conferences, as well as developing curricula in line with modern international standards.

Sulaimani Polytechnic University
The agreement focuses on updating technical curricula, integrating digital education technologies, in addition to launching field training programs for students in collaboration with industrial companies.

Southern Technical University
The agreement aims at exchanging research and scientific expertise and holding joint conferences and workshops.
