Under the patronage of the President of Northern Technical University, Dr. Aliaa Abbas Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Majid Khalil Najm.

The Geomatics Engineering Department, in collaboration with Iraq Surveyor Company, is completing the installation of the CORS station for correcting Global Positioning System (GPS) information.

This device is considered one of the state-of-the-art tools and solutions for providing stable and accurate readings in geodetic surveying. Land surveying, topographic surveying, urban surveying, pipeline surveying, roads surveying, and civil engineering.
