The title of the lecture was a discussion at the Institute organized by the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, the Women’s Empowerment Unit and the Media and Government Communication Division.
The Committee for Combating Smoking, Drugs and Psychotropic Substances at the Northern Technical University, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, the Women’s Empowerment Unit and the Media Division, organized a panel discussion entitled (A Homeland Without Drugs) and the lecture was delivered by Dr. Laila Talal, Ahmed a member of the above committee and responsible for the psychological counseling and educational guidance unit at the institute with members of the committee’s link in the scientific departments and the implementation of brochures and publications by the Media Division, and was attended by a large number of students of the scientific departments at the institute.
The aim of the episode was:
1- Promoting the values of good citizenship in the hearts of students and rooting positive attitudes towards self and society
2- Educating students about the harms of drugs and psychotropic substances and their multiple destructive effects.
The episode showed:
1- Creating a competitive interactive environment that highlights the capabilities of students and their role in producing media themes for awareness and immunity against drugs and psychotropic substances.
2- Instilling the value of preserving the soul and mind in the hearts of students.
