Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Omar Khalil Ahmed, Dean of the Institute, the Department of Electrical Technology organized a course on “controlling solar panels using fuzzy logic”

The lecture was delivered by:

• Professor Ahmed Hassan Ahmed
• The teacher is Raed Wadallah Dawood

It was attended by a number of the institute’s employees.

The course dealt with:

1. General introduction to solar panels
2. What is fuzzy logic?
3. Employing fuzzy logic to control solar panels

The course indicated:

• The most important work points to be monitored for the solar panel
• Choosing the variables that have a direct impact on the efficiency of the solar panel to be used in controlling

The course aimed to:

1. Go to the smart controllers to get a distinctive performance
2. One of the benefits of fuzzy logic is that it is easy to deal with the possibility of infringement.

The session came out with several recommendations, including:

• Urging the installation of intelligent monitoring of solar panels
• Follow up on the necessary variables for solar panels to get the highest efficiency
