The President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, met in her office the delegation of “Al-Ulama” Foundation for Development/Baghdad, represented by the President of the Foundation, Prof. Dr. Sabah Mahmood Khudair Al-Masoudi, Asst. Prof. Dr. Romi Kareem Khader Ajina, and other several members, Asst. Prof. Dr. Waleed Khalid Mahdi and Prof. Dr. Abdel Mohsin Ahmed Al-Shallawi, and in the presence of the responsible for the Women’s Empowerment Division.
During the visit, the Foundation’s delegation presented several important proposals to develop the educational process by supporting scientific cooperation between the university and the Foundation, which includes holding scientific and awareness lectures for college and institute students, as well as developing a mechanism to create a new scientific department that includes nanotechnology and its uses. In addition, various ideas were presented to support and assist Iraqi women in all scientific and practical fields.
