A technical and academic team from the General Company for Refineries / Kirkuk Branch visited the Kirkuk Technical Engineering College in order to exchange experience and information, conduct examinations, and prepare statements on the educational college refinery that was established in preparation for the creation of the College of Oil and Gas Engineering Technologies in Kirkuk.

Since the time the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, assumed the presidency of the university, our Northern Technical University with all its formations has witnessed remarkable development and progress in all fields among the universities of Iraq.

It is worth noting that the Kirkuk Technical Engineering College is witnessing a scientific and urban renaissance within a short period of its assuming this position.

Where evening studies and graduate studies were introduced, as well as development in the field of age through the expansion of classrooms, laboratories, workshops, and public facilities to accommodate the largest number of students.

The creation of the College of Oil and Gas Technologies Engineering will provide the country and the province of Kirkuk with scientific competencies that will help in the renaissance in building the infrastructure, and also contribute to the production of professors and engineers who have the ability to assume educational responsibility in the service of our society and our dear country.

It is worth noting that the scientific and urban development witnessed by the Kirkuk Technical College of Engineering is all due to the Dean of the Kirkuk Engineering Technical College, Assistant Professor Dr. Sami Reda Aslan. And the great efforts, support, and continuous encouragement from the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar.
