Assistant Professor Dr. Obaid Majid Ali, Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs at Hawija Technical Institute, obtained a patent with a research team from the North Oil Company on (octane improvers for local gasoline fuel from industrial waste).
Which includes improving the quality of locally produced gasoline fuel by raising the octane number using industrial waste, which leads to improving engine performance and increasing its efficiency, in addition to the fact that this waste is cheap and recycling contributes to reducing pollution and preserving the environment.
