The Northern Technical University, represented by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafea Mahmoud, and the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, Dr. Abdul-Bar Ahmed Nouri, participated in the activities of the workshop to support higher education in Iraq, which was set up by the World Bank and in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The workshop aimed at formulating the final frameworks for launching competitive financing projects.
The heads of the executive committees and those supporting the implementation of these projects in universities participated in the workshop, in addition to the ministerial team. The project of our university / agricultural college (Food Analysis and Safety Laboratory) was one of the projects that won World Bank funding and are planned to be implemented within a year at the site of the Agricultural Technical College.
