The College of Agricultural Technology organizes a workshop on environmental balance.
Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the guidance of the Dean of the Agricultural Technical College, Professor Dr. Shihab Ahmed Al-Bajari, the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the College, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division in the Presidency of the Northern Technical University and with the participation of the Department of Environment – Nineveh, organized a workshop Titled (Environmental Balance).
• Present were: –
– Mr. Anas Muhammad Azhar / Rehabilitation and Employment Division – Presidency of the Northern Technical University.
– Maryam Yassar Yahya / Climate Change Division / Nineveh Environment Directorate.The workshop provided a detailed explanation of environmental balance.
• The workshop came out with recommendations including: –
– Establishing reserves.
– Preventing the hunting of endangered animals.
– Follow wild animals.
– Increasing wooded oases as well as afforestation in cities.
– Reducing pollutants.
