University’s Central Library Announces Activation of Subscription with Global Publisher IEEE .

The Central Library of the Northern Technical University has announced the activation of its subscription with the global publishing house IEEE.

In a significant step that adds to the university’s ongoing journey toward excellence and academic advancement—and thanks to the continuous support and guidance of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, along with the direct follow-up of the Director of the Central Library, Dr. Ali Qasim Saeed—the Central Library is pleased to announce the activation of a three-year subscription with IEEE.

Through this subscription, university faculty members and students will gain direct access to all high-quality scientific research published in IEEE-indexed journals, in addition to benefiting from the archive of the past eight years.

This achievement will substantially enhance the quality of scientific research within the university and broaden opportunities for postgraduate students and researchers by providing access to reputable global resources that enable them to stay informed about the latest studies and scientific developments across various fields.

Moreover, this accomplishment constitutes an important contribution supporting the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s initiative to expand access to the Web of Science databases for Iraqi universities. It will further strengthen the Northern Technical University’s standing in global rankings and reinforce its academic and research presence.
