The President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, received an academic delegation from Al-Gulf College in the Sultanate of Oman, headed by **Prof. Dr. Taqi bin Abdul Redha Al-Abdwani**, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Gulf College, Member of the College’s Board of Trustees, and Chief Executive Officer of the International Institute for Training and Institutional Development.

The visit comes within the framework of enhancing joint scientific and academic cooperation and in preparation for holding a specialized training workshop at Northern Technical University, scheduled to take place on Sunday, 21 December 2025.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Taqi conveyed the greetings of **Her Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of the Sultanate of Oman, Prof. Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al-Mahrouqi**, expressing her best wishes for the participants to gain maximum benefit from the training program. Her Excellency also extended her wishes to the Iraqi people and their great country for continued stability, security, safety, progress, and prosperity.

The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation between the two institutions, particularly in the fields of training, capacity building, and the exchange of academic expertise, in a manner that contributes to improving institutional performance and advancing the scientific and technical level of staff and students.

The University President emphasized Northern Technical University’s commitment to openness and collaboration with Arab and international academic institutions, highlighting the importance of joint training workshops in supporting the educational process and keeping pace with modern developments across various disciplines.

Members of the Al-Gulf College delegation expressed their gratitude for the warm reception, commending the pioneering role of Northern Technical University and affirming their aspiration to ensure the success of the training workshop and to strengthen future scientific cooperation between the two institutions.
