The President of Northern Technical University honored the student who secured first place at Startup Weekend Mosul 2026 for a smart innovation in the field of dentistry.

In a new scientific achievement added to the continuing record of success of Northern Technical University students, Professor Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the University, honored student Obaida Mohammed Al-Wazzan from the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies. The ceremony was held in the presence of the Dean of the Technical Engineering College for Computer and Artificial Intelligence / Mosul. The student achieved first place in the Startup Weekend Mosul 2026 competition as part of the Clinicovalley team.

This distinction was earned through an innovative project represented by a smart application for managing dental clinics using artificial intelligence technologies. The application aims to enhance the efficiency of medical practice and facilitate the management of appointments and medical records, thereby contributing to the advancement of digital healthcare services.
