The President of Northern Technical University is following up on the final stages of completing the animal sanctuary at the university.

Within the framework of her interest in environmental and educational projects, the President of Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, conducted a field visit to follow up on the final stages of completing the animal sanctuary inside the university, in preparation for its opening in the near future.

During her tour, the University President reviewed the achieved completion rates and the remaining works related to preparing cages, providing veterinary supplies, shelter areas, as well as equipping the necessary infrastructure to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the animals.

She affirmed that the animal sanctuary represents an important educational and environmental project, given its role in supporting the practical and applied aspects for students of relevant specializations, and in promoting concepts of animal welfare, biodiversity conservation, and environmental awareness within the university community.

She also stressed the necessity of adhering to the approved technical and health specifications to ensure the completion of the project in a manner befitting the university and its scientific and environmental mission.

For their part, those in charge of the project presented a briefing on the final stages of work, confirming their commitment to completing the sanctuary within the specified timeframe.

The animal sanctuary project comes as part of a series of environmental projects adopted by Northern Technical University, in support of sustainability and in strengthening its scientific and societal role.
