The Northern Technical University organized a celebration on the occasion of the National Day of the Holy Qur’an.

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Aliya Abbas Ali Al-Attar, the Department of Media and Government Communication, in cooperation with the Sunni Endowment Directorate / Nineveh Branch, organized a celebration marking the National Day of the Holy Qur’an.
The ceremony’s program included the performance of the Iraqi national anthem, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in honor of the souls of our righteous martyrs, and then the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. Rawdat Al-Amjad also presented a special segment for the occasion, after which a seminar entitled “Al-Isra and Al-Mi‘raj in the Light of the Holy Qur’an” was held.
The celebration also featured religious chants performed by student Abdulrahman Al-Mashhadani and Sheikh Omar Al-Mashhadani, amid notable engagement from the audience.
At the conclusion of the event, the President of the University honored the students who won the Qur’an memorization and recitation competitions, as well as the judging committees of both competitions, in appreciation of their efforts in ensuring the success of this blessed event.
