University Holds Meeting to Discuss Program Accreditation Requirements for Health Technologies

The Northern Technical University held an expanded meeting to discuss the program accreditation requirements for health and medical technologies.

Chaired by the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, the meeting was organized by the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance and attended by the deans of health and medical colleges, several heads of academic departments, and members of the Program Accreditation Council for Health and Medical Technologies.

The meeting addressed the topic of program accreditation for health and medical technology specialties, reviewing the steps for updating accreditation requirements and mechanisms for overcoming potential challenges that may hinder progress.

The session also included an important intervention by the Deputy Chair of the National Council for Program Accreditation of Health and Medical Technologies, Assistant Professor Hawraa Natiq Kabroot, who emphasized the necessity of working according to a rigorous methodological plan and adhering to the approved national standards based on the guideline for accrediting health and medical technology programs, ensuring completion of accreditation within the designated timelines.
