Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ashti Mahdi Aref, Dean of the Kirkuk Technical Institute,

the Student Activities Division / Technical Activities Unit at the Kirkuk Technical Institute organized the annual student cultural competition for students of the scientific departments at the Kirkuk Technical Institute, where the cultural competition committee formed under the chairmanship of Dr. Karzan Salam Hassan and the members of Mr. Eng. Bassam Mohsen Attia, Mr. Eng. Iyad Mohammed Abdullah, Mr. Ibrahim Najm Al-Din Kake Mir and Mrs. Yordan Najat Bahjat and Mrs. Najla Tariq Ahmed the preparation and organization of the competition curriculum, which took place at the New Iraq Hall today, Thursday, April 24, 2025, with the participation of students of the scientific departments at the Kirkuk Technical Institute, and the competition took place in a successful cultural and scientific atmosphere with the efforts of the Cultural Competition Committee and the members of the liaison of the Student Activities Division with the scientific departments and with distinguished media coverage by the Media and Government Communication Division at the Kirkuk Technical Institute, and the Department of Surveying Technologies won first place, the Department of Electronics and Communications Technologies won second place, and the Department of Power Mechanics Techniques  In third place, after the end of the competition, memorial photos were taken for the participants with the Cultural Competition Committee, and the participating students who won the three places from the scientific departments were honored by the members of the Cultural Competition Committee with the Shield of Excellence in appreciation of their victory in the competition, thanking them and the rest of the departments for participating and attending the annual student cultural competition.
