2023-05-03Tuesday, May 2, 2023 The master’s thesis was discussed at the Northern Technical University, focusing on building an Intelligent Banking Edge Model based on Blockchain and Lora technology…
The thesis, presented by the researcher (Soha Tarek Muslim), explored the conceptual architectural design for incorporating Blockchain technology into Lora network servers. This was done to address two important issues: trust in private network operators and network coverage limitations. Blockchain technology was considered a trustworthy, decentralized, and tamper-resistant system.
The objectives of the thesis were as follows:
Transmitting data and check images over various distances and sizes.
Speeding up data and image exchange without the need for direct intervention from the sender to the receiver.
Reducing the time required for peer-to-peer money transfers while maintaining transaction confidentiality.
The thesis recommended the following:
Adding an internet connection with higher bandwidth to increase productivity. It is also possible to add multiple broadband internet connections using artificial intelligence software to determine the best connection (Lora).
Enhancing reliability by implementing a backup server in case of network interruption on any of the computers.
The discussion committee included the following members:
Assistant Professor Dr. Saad Ahmed Ayoub (Chairperson)
Assistant Professor Dr. Furqad Hamed Abdul Rahim (Member)
Dr. Younis Anas Younis (Member)
Assistant Professor Dr. Thaer Ali Saleh (Supervisor) – ( may his soul rest in peace).
