Under the patronage of Northern Technical University President , Prof. Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Omar Rafi Mahmoud, the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division launched an intensive, qualitative training program targeting officials of the qualification, employment, and follow-up units at the university’s colleges and institutes.
The program aims to:
– Enhance the capabilities of unit officials and improve their performance by familiarizing them with the tasks and responsibilities of their units.
– Develop mechanisms for building and planning strategies to establish sustainable partnerships with private sector companies and institutions.
– Effective planning for job fairs and Design Day events.
– Develop comprehensive plans for implementing job training and work-based training (WBT) programs.
– Introducing the importance of soft skills acquired by students and graduates, and methods for preparing a professional CV, which contributes to enabling graduates to secure job opportunities that match their aspirations and academic and technical qualifications.
– Emphasizing the integration of modern technologies and digital development into training, workshops, and courses implemented within the annual plan, given their pivotal role in enhancing graduates’ chances of securing jobs in a rapidly changing labor market.
– Introducing the importance of including workshops and training programs implemented within the annual plan prepared on the Nadwati website.
This program comes within the framework of the Northern Technical University’s commitment to empowering the qualification, employment, and follow-up units to be an effective link between the university and the labor market, enhancing employment opportunities.
