The President of the Northern Technical University sets strategic plans for constructing a new building to serve the university’s horizontal and vertical expansion.

As part of her ongoing efforts to develop infrastructure and enhance the university environment, the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Aliaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar, has initiated the development of strategic plans for the construction of a new building. This project aims to support the university’s horizontal and vertical expansion, in line with academic and administrative development plans.

Her Excellency emphasized that the project comes in response to the increase in student numbers and the introduction of new academic specializations, as well as the need to provide modern educational and research spaces that keep pace with international standards. She noted that the new building will include advanced lecture halls, state-of-the-art laboratories, and service facilities that contribute to improving the quality of institutional performance.

She also stressed the importance of sustainable planning that considers technical, engineering, and environmental aspects, ensuring a stimulating educational environment that supports creativity and innovation, and enhances the university’s position as a leading institution in technical and vocational education.

This project falls within a comprehensive strategic vision aimed at developing all sectors of the university and improving the level of services provided to its students and staff, in order to achieve its future goals of excellence and leadership.
