The University President Participates in the Launch Ceremony of the National Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Championship (NURAI)

The esteemed President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Aliya Abbas Al-Attar, led a university delegation to participate in the launch ceremony of the National Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Championship (NURAI), held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the American University in Baghdad, with broad participation from universities and educational institutions across various governorates of Iraq.
Her participation reaffirms Northern Technical University’s commitment to applied education and its dedication to encouraging students to engage in scientific and creative competition in modern technological fields, particularly robotics and artificial intelligence, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to keep pace with scientific and technological development.
