President of the Northern Technical University Inaugurates New Scientific Laboratories at the College of Petroleum and Gas Engineering in Kirkuk.

The President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, inaugurated a set of specialized scientific laboratories this morning at the College of Petroleum and Gas Engineering / Kirkuk, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance the educational environment and strengthen practical training requirements for students.
This visit comes within the university’s broader vision to equip its colleges with modern, advanced laboratories that meet the needs of academic departments and contribute to improving students’ practical and technical skills in line with labor market demands in the fields of petroleum, gas, and engineering.
Prof. Al-Attar also reviewed the new equipment and modern devices recently installed in the laboratories, reaffirming her commitment to supporting all university formations and providing the best infrastructure to ensure high-quality education and training.
At the conclusion of her visit, she commended the efforts of the college’s dean and its academic and engineering staff for completing these projects, which represent a significant addition to the university’s academic and research progress. She also toured the classrooms, listened to students’ concerns and needs, and promised to help overcome the challenges they face, wishing them a successful and distinguished academic year.
